Pet CPR and First Aid

Description

This class will teach students the fundamentals of canine and feline CPR and First Aid. It will provide an overview of how to manage a life threatening medical emergency that could occur with dogs and cats. The class will also focus on how to keep the animal alive or keep its condition from getting worse before arriving into veterinary care. Some skills students will learn are safe transportation of injured pets, CPR for dogs and cats, treating wounds, how to respond to choking and poisoning and so much more. This class will be taught by Amy D’Andrea MEd, RVT, CVT, VTS (EVN) Co-Owner of Pet Emergency Education. BBRCTE staff will send out more information on this class and details on how to register.
