HOME ENERGY BASICS

Essentials of energy literacy and efficiency, space heating, electricity use and production for Alaskan homes and small businesses. A foundational class to start your SE education. The path starts here.

SOLAR ENERGY

Basics of utilization, design and installation of solar energy systems, including solar electric and solar hot water systems.

SOLAR PANEL INSTALLER CERTIFICATE

Students who complete the home energy basics and solar energy course will be eligible to apply for a solar panel installer certificate course that will be offered in Dillingham at the start of the summer. This is a great way to fully understand how to install solar panels and can be a great jump start to working with renewable energy.
